Michele Suman, PhD, is a food safety and authenticity research manager at the Barilla Group where he works internationally with public and private research centres and organizations on food chemistry, food safety-quality-authenticity, food contact materials, and sensing and mass spectrometry applications for food products. He is an Adjunct Professor of AgriFood Authenticity at Catholic University Sacred Heart (Milan/Piacenza), and he is a chair or member of many food safety organizations.
