Since 2005, IAFP's European Symposium has been shaping the future of food safety by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas with colleagues from across Europe working in industry, government, and academia. The Symposium is an excellent forum to gain knowledge about the latest developments and techniques in food science and safety. The symposium will be held 6-8 May 2025 in Madrid, Spain.

This summit offers opportunities to: I) Gain insights on current food safety trends and regulations from government representatives; II) Learn about minimizing risks related to contamination, food fraud, and product recalls through case studies and best practices; III) Collaborate with peers to explore effective food safety training and culture; IV) Examine ways to enhance supply chain procedures to meet demand while maintaining food safety standards.

The Africa Food Safety Summit, held since 2021, is Africa’s premier and largest international food safety, quality management and compliance conference and exhibition. The Summit brings together regional and global experts and stakeholders to share the latest trends in food safety, quality management, science and technology; regulations, standards and compliance; and sustainable adoption of safe practices and technologies in the agriculture and food value chain in Africa.

This event is dedicated to innovations and breakthroughs in rapid analysis & diagnostics across the agri-food, plant science, water/environment, human and animal healthcare, and forensic science sectors.
