Analytical scientist with over nine years of experience in ISO:17025 accredited food-testing laboratories. Following his BSc/MSc studies in Italy, Lorenzo obtained a PhD in Analytical Chemistry, working on development of LC-MS based analytical methods for detection of mycotoxins in foodstuffs, in a joint project between Queen’s University Belfast (UK) and Teagasc (Dublin, Ireland), where he is currently employed as Technologist - Food analyst.
