He has a Ph.D. in lipid metabolism and an extensive background in lipid biochemistry, lipid analysis, standards and standards development gained in the academic, industry, and not- for-profit sectors. He is currently working as consultant for various international organizations in the food quality and safety space, with a special interest in food authenticity.
